PIMM STRATEGY

The success of our products depends on a few practices, but these must be carried out with extreme care and precision. Essentially, the process involves planting and drying, and it is these two steps that guarantee the success of the strategy.

01 Planning

Planning addresses three main points: the cycle required for the product, the size of the window available for coverage formation, and the production environment. Each product has its ideal environment, which may vary according to the level of technology or productivity of the area, and can be classified as low, medium, or high technology.

02 Implantation

Implementation involves pre-sowing desiccation of the area where the planting will take place. RAÍX is designed to have the exact and precise quantity of plants of the correct species, which guarantees maximum system performance. The area must be prepared with extreme care to ensure maximum performance.
Another important aspect in implementation is the correct dose of the product. The recommended dose, which can vary between 40 and 70 kg, must be followed strictly. This is because the composition of the species and the dose used are the result of research carried out over the years, and this is the only way to guarantee the best performance in the farmer's area.

03 Monitoring

The area with RAÍX, even though it is in the winter cover cycle, needs to be treated as a commercial crop. In other words, the cover crop should be treated as if it were responsible for the profitability of the crop. During this period, we are changing and improving the soil profile, which will directly impact crop productivity in the following years.

04 Management

At the end of the product cycle, it is time for desiccation. The infrastructure available on the farm is an important factor in this stage. Whether it is a roller, a tire dragged over the biomass or even a log, desiccation can be carried out with any equipment, but the recommendation is a knife roller, which provides an excellent strategy. The roller helps to ensure the horizontality of the straw, promoting better moisture conservation and weed control. This is essential to maintain the performance of the cover. In addition, desiccation must be done in advance. Otherwise, the plantability of the commercial crop may be compromised, or the work of improving the soil will be in vain. Plantability is one of the most important factors for the success of the crop.

Atention

Importance of Correct Dose: Failure to adhere to recommended doses can directly affect system performance.

Early Desiccation: If not done in time, it compromises the plantability and efficiency of the process.
